Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu
..It's a great day to thank the LORD for he has granted us Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu in this world for us for the past 91 years.Though he
is gone but the He has left an indentable mark in Penang.Being born in 1973 ,I grew up under his tenure as a CM of Penang.In fact
I think its best to describe him as the gardener of Penang.
He pruned and planted beautiful plants in terms of development and who can forget the iconic tower-KOMTAR-MY hangout place during my schooling days.
When I was posted as a Teacher at PFS I came to know of his days at PFS.He is on of the queen's scholar roll at PFS -You can still see his name carved on the board of recepients.
I guess the spirit of the FREES was a huge influence in his life.All PFS students should take note of this..Its not what u do at school that brings a name but the way u live and contribute back to society of the learning u had at your ALMA M, that makes a great human.AND Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu is a fine example.Another great day with a great example for us to emulate.
