MY LABOUR OF LOVE
So I finally did it!.Slogging out the marks for the 9 classes ! My review of the system was ..its using an ancient DOS system(Disc operating System)..most probably the TREX DOS. If you are wondering what's a TREX DOS ..it means the T-Rex DOS system.Which means a system that was created during the dinosaur ages.Yep...its that primitive. I even think our computers couldnt stand the system that it displayed the system in colour by their own settings. Each time I key in the marks I wait for ages to see the mark appear.Like how the the dinosaurs went through different periods in time. Sometimes after keying in the marks the next day the classes would appear blank!
And then of course there was suggestions to log in during less peak hours like 7pm or deep in midnite.Sometimes i would sleep and set the alarm at 3am to get up to key in the marks.But even then it was giving the same problem. What do you expect.The TREX DOS would most probably be taking time to learn the new computer language we are using and wonders why our operating systems are named after an item in the house like the Window and also fruits like Apple.Bt hey ! You gotta give the TREX DOS system a chance . After all the brain size of a Dinosaur is very small in relative to its mass. And thats what the system is facing now. A huge number of users with a very limited software.
As I was punching in my punch card I saw a notice that stated certain marks from my music class were not in the system.I have been notified with a pink notice...I was dumbfounded. I just celebrated last night with a hot mug of chocolate and my favourite butter cookies for accomplishing my mammoth task . And here I was back to square one!...but you know what I was not suprised because using a Dinosaour era software I should have seen it coming.Even the dinosaurs never knew how they got wiped out from earth and likewise I will never know what wiped out my classes from the system.
(I dont think I can use the excuse an asteroid hit my computer )
On a sweeter side of things i would like to add that my wife and countless number of teachers who had offered me help to key in the marks.I was touched and gratefull by their offer.Thanks a bunch to this super friends. And no thanks a million to SAPS

Here's hoping and praying that whoever chose to subject us to this ordeal is eaten by a dinosaur, shat out and eaten again!
